Not much to say here really, it took the worker guys 10 hours to finish their part of the yard, and now we need to still lay the irrigation lines and plant the grass, hopefully this week. But I think it looks way better than before! Don't you?

Like I said in my post...I don't think all TV is bad at all....I just think there are a lot of other fun things in life to experience as well! My kids sometimes say they are bored...but I give them ideas of what to play or else tell them they can clean a room...LOL. They find something fun to play quickly!
I don't "entertain" them all the time...I have things to clean, school days to plan etc...but I do read to them and we play Brain Quest. At meal times we all sit at the table together and talk. We tell each other jokes and laugh. It's really nice! :)
I just know, for myself, it was easy for me to just say "yeah, go watch TV" rather than really getting my kids to use their imaginations more and have fun. So for us....keeping the TV off is better. The kids and I are closer and I just like the peace of it. Usually I have music (similar to the stuff on my blog) playing in the background. It makes for a great day! :)
