I have to say as much as I do NOT like change, I think Obama is going to make a great President, not only for the USA but for other countries as well. I think it's about time that race got put aside, that women's rights got put forward, and that it's all about people! Not specific people but people in general! I tell ya, if Obama had not won, I would have taken him for Prime Minister, as would alot of Canadians!
Onto other things....my friend in PA and her husband have installed an outdoor woodburner to heat their home. Apparently the savings are amazing! So this is my job today, to research this...I am sure it's a popular option in Canada, cause you know the world does think we live in igloos.
We are all missing Neil, but he had a great first day at his new job, learnt alot of things. I think he's overwhelmed but I am sure he will figure things out. Now if the MoT can figure out the highway!!!!

I am totally NOT an Obama fan.. AT ALL. But as my president..I will respect him and pray for him...just like I would for anyone else who is our President! :)
I will be making a post soon about the woodburner...as much as I know. Chris knows more though...I will ask him to maybe write some key things down for me. :)
Sorry I missed your call! You mentioned you wanted my sis's contact info cuz of her shop...did you want her email or if not...you can contact her on etsy :). Just let me know! :)
Hey Denise...Mindy's parents have a wood burning stove in their house and they save a ton of money by using it. They said that last winter, their furnace only turned on four or five times all winter.
You might want to check the local building codes however and your insurance as most cities do not allow wood burning stoves or fireplaces at all.
